Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
Art Rooms LLC (“Art Rooms,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an artist mockup application (the “App”) distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, along with our website at artroomsapp.com (together with the App, the “Services”). We designed the Services to collect as little personal information as possible. This Privacy Policy explains the very limited personal information we do collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights available to you. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who uses the Services, wherever they are located. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or a U.S. state with its own privacy law (such as California), Section 8 below describes additional rights that apply to you.
1. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account with Art Rooms to use the App, and we do not collect or store any account information about you. We also do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or profiling technologies of any kind, in the App or on our website.
Support Emails. The only personal information we collect is your email address, and it is collected only if you choose to email us for customer support. When you do, we also receive the content of your message and any information you choose to include in it.
Your Artwork and Outputs. The App lets you upload images (“Your Artwork”) and generate mockups and other images using that artwork (“Outputs”). We process Your Artwork only for as long as necessary to generate the Output you request — whether that processing happens on your device or briefly on our servers — and we do not store or retain Your Artwork or your Outputs afterward. As described in our Terms of Service, you retain ownership of Your Artwork and your Outputs, and we do not use Your Artwork to train, improve, or develop any AI model or machine-learning system.
Camera and Photo Library Access. The App requests permission to access your device’s camera and photo library so that you can take or select photos of your artwork to upload. We only access your camera or photo library when you choose to use these features, and only to let you select or capture the image you want to upload — we do not access your camera roll in the background or without your action, and we do not retain the images afterward, as described above. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, though doing so will limit your ability to use certain App features.
Purchase Information. If you subscribe to Art Rooms Premium, your purchase is made and billed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details, App Store/Google Play account credentials, or any persistent record of your purchase tied to your identity. Your subscription entitlement is verified directly with Apple or Google each time it is needed, rather than stored by us.
Basic Technical Logs. Like most internet services, the servers and hosting infrastructure that operate the Services may automatically generate short-term connection logs (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and operational purposes — for example, to detect abuse or diagnose outages. This is not analytics or tracking: we do not use these logs to identify, profile, or follow individual users, and they are not linked to anything you do in the App.
We do not knowingly collect more personal information than described above.
2. How We Use Information
Because we collect so little personal information, there is very little to use. We use the information described above only to:
- Generate the Outputs you request from Your Artwork, while you are actively using the App;
- Verify your Art Rooms Premium subscription entitlement with Apple or Google;
- Respond to your customer support inquiries and keep a reasonable record in case you contact us again about the same matter;
- Maintain the basic security and operation of the Services, including detecting and preventing abuse; and
- Comply with applicable law and respond to legal process, as described in Section 4.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising of any kind.
Service Providers. We may share your support-email correspondence with third-party vendors who help us provide customer support or operate our email and hosting infrastructure. These providers are authorized to use that information only as necessary to provide their services to us, and are contractually required to protect it.
Apple and Google. Because the App is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store and Google Play, your purchases, subscriptions, and related billing and payment information are handled directly by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, not by us. We encourage you to review Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies to understand how they handle your information.
Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is required or permitted by law, to comply with legal process, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Art Rooms, our users, or others.
Business Transfers. If Art Rooms is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, your information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information, as required by applicable law.
With Your Consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent.
4. Data Retention
Because we don’t collect account data and don’t retain Your Artwork or Outputs, there is very little for us to retain. This section covers the one category of personal information we do keep: support emails.
Your Artwork and Outputs. As described in Section 1, we process Your Artwork only for as long as necessary to generate the Output you request, and do not retain Your Artwork or Outputs afterward. Because we do not keep a copy, you are responsible for downloading and keeping your own copies of Your Artwork and any Outputs you wish to retain — we will not be able to recover or provide you with that content later.
Support Communications. We retain the emails and other messages you send us for customer support, along with our replies, only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which we collected them — to respond to your inquiry, resolve any related issue, and maintain a reasonable record in case you contact us again about the same matter. In practice, we retain support communications for up to 3 years after our last interaction with you about the relevant inquiry, after which we delete or anonymize them, unless we need to keep specific records for a longer period to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements. We do not sell, rent, or share your support communications with third parties, except with service providers as described in Section 3. You may also request earlier deletion of your support communications at any time by contacting us as described in Section 10.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We do not use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, tracking, or advertising, in the App or on our website. Our website may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies required for basic site functionality, such as remembering that you’ve dismissed a cookie notice. The App does not use cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including by blocking or deleting them; doing so may affect how parts of our website function.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 years old, or under 16 years old if you are located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at hello@artroomsapp.com so we can delete that information.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit and access controls that limit who within Art Rooms can access your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and take other steps as required by applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right, subject to certain exceptions and limitations, to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; restrict or object to certain processing; receive a copy of your information in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent as the legal basis for processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
The table below summarizes the legal bases we rely on for the main ways we process personal information under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

Art Rooms LLC is the entity responsible for your personal information and is your point of contact for privacy matters, including if you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland; see Section 10 for contact details. If we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we do so using legally recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism, where required.
California and Other U.S. States
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA”), gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion or correction of that information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of. In the twelve months preceding the date of this Policy, the only category of personal information we have collected is identifiers — specifically, the email address and message content you send us if you contact customer support — for the business purpose described in Section 2. We have not sold or shared this or any other category of personal information.
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us as described in Section 10.
All Users
Wherever you are located, since the only personal information we hold about you is, at most, your support-email correspondence, you can ask us at any time what information (if any) we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at hello@artroomsapp.com.
9. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site or service before providing it with your information.
10. Contact Us

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above. For material changes, or changes that reduce your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
